Funds projects that facilitate the creation of a publishable work, an innovative program, strategic initiative, study paper or report.

Professional Development Grants

Funds specialized training and continuing education.

Eligible: Canadian creators (writers and visual artists), arts professionals and publishers

Artist in Residence

Funding to host an artist in residence project by contracting a professional Saskatchewan artists in any discipline to collaboratively engage the community in arts activities.

Eligible: Partnerships that include organizations, community groups, businesses or other stakeholders and professional artists

Funding to present single arts events or series; and to research, plan and develop an artist residency.

Touring – Arts Organizations

Funds non-commercial touring projects occurring in and out of the province.

The Culture on the Go program has been operated since 2008 with special funding from the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport. Unfortunately, that funding was eliminated in the recent provincial budget.

Provides funding to professional arts organizations and groups that contributes to arts programs and services, governance, management, administrative and operational functions.

Eligible: Arts organizations and groups with a professional arts mandate in the areas of research, creation, production, presentation, exhibition and publishing, and/or the development of professional artists or community engagement with their centre of operations in Saskatchewan.

Annual and Multi-Year

Provides funding that contributes to artistic programs and services, and governance, management, administrative and operational functions.

Eligible: Saskatchewan festival organizations that have a program mandate based on the presentation of arts programs to the public, and are committed to the development of professional and non-professional artists and audiences for the arts

Project

Funds artistic programs and events that connect and engage professional artists, the public and communities, and are presented in a festival setting.

Eligible: Saskatchewan non-profit organizations or ad hoc groups, collectives or unincorporated organizations operating on a not-for-profit basis
